Make up time will be allowed within the following parameters: A Future Professional cannot earn more than 10 hours a day and/or 48 hours a week via North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts. Future Professional must makeup missing hours with in the same week. Arrangements for makeup hours must made with the Future Professional Advisor or missed hours will count against the hours allowed to miss and overtime charges can occur.

| 4-Night Future Professionals | can make up time by coming in as early as 12:00 PM Monday through Thursday, Friday 9:30AM-5:00PM |
| Core and/or Protégé Future Professional | are not allowed to make up time till reaching the Adaptive phase of school. |
*As a reminder when making up time on Friday a Future Professional must arrive by 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM and must stay till either 1:30 PM or 5:00 PM. If a Future Professional arrives late on a make up day they will be turned away from make up time.
