Professional Image (DRESS CODE)

Paul Mitchell the School Charlotte Dress Code for all Future Professionals. Future Professionals must always be in dress code to receive hours. 

Clothing:
  1. Clothing must be black, white, or gray in any combination.
  2. Patterns are acceptable if the pattern is black, white, gray, beige, or brown.
  3. Clothing should be professional and clean.
  4. Shoes should be closed toe and have a hard bottom.
  5. Hair and Cosmetic should be done prior to arriving at school.
  6. Shoulder straps must be a minimum of two (2) inches in width.
  7. All pants, skirts, dresses, rips, tears or slits must fall below your fingertips.

ACCESSORIES:

  1. Accessories can be any color. 
  2. Accessories include but are not limited to hats, scarves, socks, belts, ties, beanies, jewelry and shoes. 

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: (Apron and Name Tag provided in student kit)

  1. Aprons must be worn while performing all services
    a. Should be black, white, or gray in color
  2. Name Tags must be visible and are mandatory while on campus
    a. Replacement Name Tag is $8.00

UNACCEPTABLE DRESS CODE ITEMS:

  1. Shirts that expose the front, back and/or side of your torsos. No belly or crop tops.
  2. No clothing bottom made from sweatpants material. (including pajamas)
  3. Any graphics, words, logos, brand or print representing another Cosmetology School or Brand.
  4. No clothing should display graphics or text that are offensive, political, gruesome, vulgar, or weapons.
  5. No shorts that fall above the knee.
  6. No Sunglasses inside of the building.
  7. No bedroom slippers, open toe shoes that do not have a hard sole.
  8. Any color clothing other than what is stated as approved colors.
