Professional Image / Dress Code

Professional Image

All Future Professionals must adhere to the following professional dress code while in attendance:

  1. Future Professionals must wear all black, white, or grey TOPS. All bottoms must be black. Acceptable bottoms are Denim, Slacks, Leggings, Skirts, dress and Yoga pants.
    1. Clothing should be professional and clean
    2. Shoes should be closed toe and closed heel, hard bottom.
    3. Hair and cosmetics should be done prior to arriving at school
    4. Shoulder straps must be a minimum of two (2) inches in width
    5. Skirts and dress must be longer than fingertips
    6. Clothing bottoms that have holes, rips, tears, or slits must fall below your fingertips
  2. Accessories can be any color
    a) Accessories include but not limited to fashion hats, scarves, socks, belts, ties, beanies, jewelry, shoes.
  3. Aprons must be worn while performing any & all services - (Should be black, white, or grey in color.)
  4. Name Tag must be visible & mandatory while on campus. (Replacement cost is $8.00)

The following is unacceptable dress:

  1. Shirts that expose the front, back and/or side of your torsos.
  2. No clothing bottom made from sweatpants material. (Which includes but no limited but not limited to: joggers, track pants, sweatpants, pajamas).
  3. Any print/logo representing another brand or with any other writing. This includes graphics / images or any writing on your clothing that isn't Paul Mitchell.
  4. No shorts or any kind including pants shorter than knee(s).
  5. No sport headwear including Baseball hats and visors.
  6. No Sunglasses inside of the building.
  7. No bedroom slippers, no shoes with holes, slits and/or made of soft/rubber materials, no crocs or croc-like shoes. No Ugg or slip ons.
